Steve Barnes is a highly acclaimed drummer and educator, whose signature sound and musicality have made him a valuable asset in settings ranging from big bands to orchestras to television soundtrack recordings. He has performed with jazz greats including Gene Bertoncini, Don Braden, Richie Cole, Hank Crawford, Hal Galper, Eddie Harris, Antonio Hart, Conrad Herwig, Dan Haerle, Groove Holmes, Jay Leonhart, Dave Liebman, Mundell Lowe, Frank Morgan, New York Voices, Diane Schuur, Bob Sheppard, Sonny Stitt, Marvin Stamm, Tierney Sutton, Rosanna Eckert, Corey Christiansen, Mike Steinel, Bill Holman's Big Band, Bob Florence Big Band and the Tommy Dorsey Big Band. During a decade in Los Angeles, Steve's professional experiences included not only live gigging and touring, but also television recording (including on-camera playing) for the ABC FAMILY show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "The Middle". Since relocating to Dallas in 2011, Steve has enjoyed making music with some of the Metroplex's finest jazz musicians as well as being asked to join the drum chair rotation with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Pops Series under the baton of Jeff Tyzik. Steve has over 35 years of private teaching experience, including his current position as Adjunct Instructor of Drumset in the Jazz Division at the University of North Texas, and serving on the faculty of the Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop since 2001. Other past teaching positions include teaching jazz drumset at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music and serving as drumset mentor for both the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra's jazz division from 2012 to 2014 and the Los Angeles Jazz Society's Bill Green Mentor Scholarship program from 2004 to 2011.

Born and raised in Eastern Maine, Will St Peter grew up with a deep love of music and began to develop a passion for jazz guitar at the age of fifteen. Will St Peter began his studies on jazz guitar in Bangor, Maine with Daryl Rhodes. He continued to study and perform jazz while completing his undergraduate degree in Music Education at the University of Maine and during the three years he spent teaching music in Maine's public schools. In 2019 he earned his Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas studying under Davy Mooney. He is currently a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas as he pursues his doctoral degree in Jazz Performance. In 2019, he was recognized as a semifinalist at the Wilson Center Guitar Festival's Jazz Competition. Will regularly performs original compositions and standards across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Hailing from Washington, Steven has spent the greater part of his life making music throughout the United States. He has shared performances with artists including Chris Potter, Audrey Ochoa, Rashawn Ross, Christian McBride, and Louis Bonilla and been invited to perform in China, Colombia, and Europe. Equally comfortable as a leader or a sideman, Steven brings a spirit of collaboration and generosity to his music endeavors. Steven pursued studies at Eastern Washington University and the University of North Texas in performance, jazz studies, and music theory which culminated in a dissertation on the free improvisation of Dave Holland and Sam Rivers on their 1976 album Holland/Rivers Volume 1. This research focused on a sampling of ways Holland and Rivers would interact in the domains of melody, harmony, form, and energy. As an educator, Steven has taught at Marshall University and West Virginia Wesleyan College where he mentored young jazz musicians in applied lessons and small ensembles. He currently serves students as a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas where he has taught a range of courses including applied jazz bass and aural skills.
