I would like to dedicate this music to all of you, whether I know you personally or not, and to all who listen. To all people with inquisitive minds, to those who take an interest in their fellow human beings, and also to the principle of human self determination. I also wish to express gratitude to some specific people and have dedicated some of the individual songs to them. This album comes from deep, and as a bassist I mean that in every sense.

It is a reflection on the times in which we live and also on the things which are important to me, the basic principles which lie at the heart of creating the sounds I do. What matters to me is to have the freedom to do what I think is right. In essence, life comes from movement.

I like to be free of constraints, to be able to yield to the temptation of the moment and to let my double bass do the talking. My personal form of having freedom in jazz is one which suits me, represents me, is me. Here is my gift to those who listen, to those who seek, who take me into their world and who devote their time and attention to my music. Thank you for having such open ears.
