On this live-recording in De Roma (Antwerp), the Royal Flemish Philharmonic is conducted by Martyn Brabbins. The unique trompet solos are played by the legendary Bert Joris, together with the powerfull jazz singer Tutu Puane

This live cd proves that it is quite possible, to create a synthesis between jazz and Symphony Orchestra, it has quite a lot to do with the ability of the Orchestra, large and thereby often log, to the subtlety and the tempi of the jazz soloists not to get bogged down.
