Jazz and medieval Persian lyric - a very exciting and exotic meeting. The lyrics are taken from the books of Hafiz and Omar Khayyam (13. century) - and sung in Persian language by Cymin Samawatie, born from Iranian parents but living in Germany. Most of the compositions are from Cymin, two from the piano player. Even if it is Jazz, you can here the partly oriental melodies and improvisation, mainly from Benedikt Jahnel and the Indian born Ketan Bhatti.
